Warm weather = happy us

Warmer weather brings out the happy in us! Eric has some friends that race in the auto cross so we got to go watch them. I think it makes Eric miss racing

I can't believe Knox is 11 months. He's crawling all over the place, trying to climb everything, standing & has even started to walk on his own! I've enjoyed him being my little baby & now I've almost got a toddler on my hands! Time has flown by & we are loving it!!

I don't want to be "that" mom but I really do love being a mother! Mother's Day was a great day. I'm so blessed to be this little boys mamma. He puts so much more meaning in my every day. I wouldn't be a mother without Eric so I'm pretty thankful for that guy as well. He took us swimming on Mother's Day. We are little fish so we like spending lots of time in the water.

We've decided to be real outdoorsy this summer so we went & walked the river with Knox. It was really pretty. We had fun & we were outside so of course, Knox loved it!

Eric's birthday was April 16th. I got a bunch of friends together for dinner at Kyotos, a hibachi Japanese steakhouse & sushi, it was real good! Afterward we went to a friends & had a little surprise party, which I think he knew about... But it was still fun! Poor guy was really sick on his actual birthday so I'm glad we celebrated early

Knox & I got to go with some family to Lilees dance competition in Logan. We had a blast. Knox enjoyed watching the dances, for the most part. We spent the weekend at the competition, swimming, shopping & enjoying some delicious meals!

The rest of April's Rexburg visit consisted of working long hours in the salon. I love getting to visit with my clients. We also got to go to Lilees end of the year dance recital which was a lot of fun, shes such a cutie. We had a couple more days left in Rexburg while I worked & then we headed back to our Boise home!

We had an eventful week! We went on a family drive to Lucky Peak Lake then out to a drive in dining restaurant called Fancy Freeze (it was our cheat night...) Knox had his first french fry experience! Yum yum

I've been trying to be more of a "mommy home maker" had a few successes but also a really big fail... Haha

I've decided I may go back to work! I really miss doing hair & I've been going a little stir crazy at home all day every day. SO I did some salon hunting here in the Meridian/Boise area. There really are some amazing salons here. Booth rent is real expensive compared to what I'm used to back home in Rexburg but hopefully the business & new clients will make up for it. I'm hoping to get into a salon part time, I know I couldn't leave Knox for more than a couple days a week. We are still looking & trying to decide what will be best for child care with our little man but I will keep you posted! ;)

I think he's excited for me to go back to work. The maybe I'll want to stay home in the evenings when he's home & tired. Instead, I've been wanting to go out, anywhere! Even to walk around the grocery store! Stir crazy me...

We went out on Saturday night to celebrate our friend Blair's birthday. We went to dinner first then out downtown to do some dancing! Dancing is one of Eric & I's favorite things to do so it was real fun. We've loved meeting new friends, we've met some great people since we moved here! Here are some pics of our night
